Our Company - Overview
Radikal Technologies was established in 1995 by Jurgen Korduletsch as a subsidiary of Radikal Records and was set up as a distribution company for innovative studio
equipment. In 1998 the decision was made to expand the success of the company further by developing proprietary products. Accordingly, Radikal Technologies branched out from only distribution into product design and
development, in order to have more control over future products to be distributed. At the 2000 Frankfurter Musikmesse Radikal introduced the first finished product - the SAC-2K Software Assigned Controller - to the
public. Designed as a platform-independent Hardware Controller, this instrument was able to simplify operation of most professional hard disk recording and sequencing programs considerably and more importantly make
their operation more musical. The SAC's design and ergonomics are unmatched to this day and wins over customers who can't afford, or don't wish to be tied to one software program only. Especially in everyday studio
work, when applications like Motu's Digital Performer 3.0 and ProTools are used in conjunction, the SAC-2K really shines and demonstrates its true usefulness in real world settings.
Longterm Company Goals
Radikal Technologies intends to build on the success of the SAC-2K with future products both in the hardware and software markets. At the 2002 Frankfurt Musikmesse,
the company presented the new and improved version of the SAC-2K, the SAC-2.2.
Also introduced was the new operating system, version 2 which is shared by both units. Top level design coupled with top-of-the-line,
high quality components will ensure that future Radikal Technologies products will find their place both in project studios as well as in high end professional production environments.

As the Development Department of the Radikal products is located in Germany and the coordination of manufacture and production also is handled in that country, a German
corporation - Radikal Technologies Deutschland GmbH - was set up in 2001.
