SAC-2K
Q: Is it possible for me to upgrade my SAC-2K to the same technical specification as the SAC 2.2?
A: Yes we are offering an upgrade path free of charge. Please contact our distribution partners or
contact us directly regarding this option.
Q: The SAC sometimes overwrites automation data on its own or my software does not respond to fader movements.
A: In all likelihood you have a first generation model with the original touch sensitity circuitry design.
We have since developed a Hardware Upgrade that is available for 100 $US plus shipping to registered users which eliminates this problem. Please contact our distribution partners or contact us directly.
The Faders of the SAC-2K are not accurate enough. Is this a result of fader resolution?
A: No, the motor control of the faders in the earlier units was not optimized. Firmware version >2.0
takes care of this problem.
The SAC-2K seems not to work via USB
For SAC-2K USB operation you need a special USB cable that can purchased directly at our
Radikal sales offices. You should also look for our latest updates inside the download section to make sure, that the latest drivers and firmware is installed.
SAC-2.2
Is it still possible to order the SAC 2.2 with the old design?
A: On special request we can offer the old design for a limited time. However, this design is not
being manufactured anymore and as a result, supply is very limited.
SAC-8X
Why is the SAC-8X not available yet?
A: At this time there is no software support that is up to our specifications for the SAC-8X. For that
reason shipping the expansion right now does not make sense. However, a number of software companies are working on the implementation and we expect to ship the expansion sometime later this year.
