Delta CEP A – Paraphonic semimodular synthesizer

NAMM 2018 News: Radikal Technologies presents the Delta Cep A – a semimodular paraphonic synthesizer voice

The Delta Cep A is the perfect starting point into the eurorack modular world. A MIDI to CV Interface, Oscillators, Filters, LFO, Envelope Generator, Mixer, VCA and a FX section and even a memory sequencer/interpolator for new incredible sound FXs. Each section has inputs and outputs and adds a lot of power to any already existing modular synth. The Delta CEP A can also be used totally independent from any Eurorack frame with our Delta CEP A desktop casing. Even without patching one single cable, the Delta can be used as a powerful solo synthesizer and Chords/Pads machine.

Interpolator
The Interpolator stores patch memories of the synthesizer and allows for automatic sequential recall and crossfading between these patches.

Eurorack Modular Workshop: String Filter experiments

In this eurorack modular workshop video I explain the usage of the EFFEXX string filter algorithm. If you already have an EFFEXX module you probably also have the three additional modules I used for this workshop. For my sound examples I added one Noise generator, one ADSR envelope generator and one VCA. The workshop explains the cabling and gives a lot of tips how to tweak the parameters for different sonic results.

If you just would like listening to the string filter sounds, you can skip the first 4 minutes of the video.

EFFEXX RT-1701: New Audio Demo Vintage Delay

      VintageDelayEFFEXX

One of the most popular FX algorithms nowadays is a vintage style tape delay emulation. The modification of the delay time caused a pitch change because you moved the head directly at some devices or/and switched to another motor speed what involved acceleration effects. The EFFEXX sports up to two of these vintage delays simultaneously plus reverb, post EQ and pre overdrive. With other words – you can create really spectacular SFXs with the module. As a sound source I used the RT-311 Swarm Oscillator and the RT-451 Dual Multimode Filter. Furthermore I added three Doepfer modules to this setup – the A-155 Analog Trigger Sequencer, the A-132 Dual VCA and one A-140 envelope generator.
