I see some stores/people in Europe have gotten a Delta CEP A.  Any update on shipments headed to the US?

thanks

Just an update -- the modules and desktops seem to have arrived in some stores and mine is shipped and arriving Friday, so that's exciting news.

Great! Let us know how it sounds and works. I'd like to know how it sounds in comparison to the Accelerator (which you may not have 😉 ).

I just saw that the manual was published so will have a look.

Have fun!

Never owned an Accelerator, but had a Spectralis 1 and 2 for a few years.  Love the sound of the Delta.  Yes, a single oscillator, but the swarm capabilities let you dial in as much thickness/beating as you want.  The multiple filter choices are good and different and overall I find the sound of the oscillator/filter combination very pleasing to just play and listen to even with no/minimal resonance.  I also actually enjoy the built-in effects (usually they are crap and Joerg was smart for not putting in a reverb). You can get a lot of colors out of that oscillator and filter and the envelopes really can snap.  Bonus for me -- using the 12 dB filter (analog or digital) in all pass mode (all modes turned on) allows you to use the cutoff and resonance to bring out some very interesting sounds.

I will say that modulations are not extensive and you have to patch to get PWM, but having a single LFO is going to limit you to some degree.  The main envelope is nice and you have the ability to cv control the attack and decay stages and the VCA either shares it or uses a simpler AD gate type envelope.  Again, there's Mod inputs but on-board you have a limited set of modifiers to use and it really begs for integration into a larger Eurorack setup and/or placement near other patchable sources such as step sequencers or other semi-modular synths.  The panel actually has the LFO labeled as LFO 1 as if there is/was going to be more than one.

I've only been playing with it a couple days, so some things are still new/need to be learned.  If you browse through the manual, you'll see a lot of Shift-functions and some controls that are either +/- amounts or 2 different targets depending on which way it's turned.  These are *mostly* intuitive from the front panel labeling, but a few times I was wondering why I wasn't hearing the intended result and needed to look at the manual.  Oh - plus for including a printed manual with the synth.  Very good for us old people that like hardcopy.

The LEDs along the left side are often used to indicate information like amount of a control being turned or whether it's positive or negative or a specific selection.  To be honest, I haven't needed it much just yet since I'm really doing the adjusting by ear.  I haven't played with the morphing functionality yet.

All in all, it's a great sounding mono that's deeper in functionality than it first appears.  It's real easy to dial in great sounds.  I haven't pushed it much to see how weird it can get, but the delay and flanger effects can have very short delay times and lots of feedback and the phaser sounds nice, so I'm not worried about weird.  As far as I can tell initially, even though it's a stereo output and the FX section has stereo inputs, I don't hear the effects requiring both channels to sound correct, so I'm running it in mono.  There's no auto-panning or spread across the L/R (unless I missed it with the chorus effect), so a single output will probably work for most folks.
