Eurorack Modular Workshop: String Filter experiments

In this eurorack modular workshop video I explain the usage of the EFFEXX string filter algorithm. If you already have an EFFEXX module you probably also have the three additional modules I used for this workshop. For my sound examples I added one Noise generator, one ADSR envelope generator and one VCA. The workshop explains the cabling and gives a lot of tips how to tweak the parameters for different sonic results.

If you just would like listening to the string filter sounds, you can skip the first 4 minutes of the video.

RT-1701 Multi-FX EFFEXX demonstration

I created a little video demonstrating the tempo delay, flanger, reverb and lowpass filter of the RT-1701 EFFEXX module. At the last third I create some snapshots and crossfade/interpolate through them. The drum groove comes from the Spectralis 2. I created the drumsounds with my eurorack system and imported the samples into the Spectralis 2 sample engine. The kick drum doesn’t run through the EFFEXX in this example.

NAMM 2017: RADIKAL SHOWCASES NEW EURORACK MODULES

Radikal Technologies showcases the brand new RT-1701 EFFEXX Multi FX-Module for the eurorack world. This new FX unit combines multiple FX processors with Radikal's powerful snapshot animation feature. Create the most astonishing FX morphing sounds and control them with external control voltages from envelope generators, step sequencers or LFOs.  For the first time, we are also presenting the Release version of the Swarm Oscillator RT-311 that recently hit the US market. We are at in Hall C, boothnumber 4803.

First Audio Demo of the RT-1701 EFFEXX Multi-FX-PROcessor

The RT-1701 features a gain stage with saturation, a very flexible EQ/Filter section and 2 selectable DSP effects for the modern electronic musician. The following effects are available: Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Tremolo, Vibrato, Filter. Effect combinations and settings can be memorized in up to 8 snapshots for every program. The snapshot blender allows for creating smooth transitions between the different snapshots. The blender can be controlled by an internal LFO or with external control voltages. By blending from one snapshot to the next, the module produces a mix between the two FX snapshots.
