Eurorack Modular Workshop: String Filter experiments
In this eurorack modular workshop video I explain the usage of the EFFEXX string filter algorithm. If you already have an EFFEXX module you probably also have the three additional modules I used for this workshop. For my sound examples I added one Noise generator, one ADSR envelope generator and one VCA. The workshop explains the cabling and gives a lot of tips how to tweak the parameters for different sonic results.

Another drum processing demo with the RT-1701 Multi-FX module “EFFEXX”.
RT-1701 Multi-FX EFFEXX demonstration
I created a little video demonstrating the tempo delay, flanger, reverb and lowpass filter of the RT-1701 EFFEXX module. At the last third I create some snapshots and crossfade/interpolate through them. The drum groove comes from the Spectralis 2. I created the drumsounds with my eurorack system and imported the samples into the Spectralis 2 sample engine. The kick drum doesn’t run through the EFFEXX in this example.

Brief installation instructions for the RT-1701 Multi-FX module “EFFEXX” and the RT-311 Swarm Oscillator. For both devices, a module consists of the front panel and a plug-in DSP board, which holds the Eurorack compatible connector.
New Firmware Update for the RT-1701 EFFEXX Multi-FX!
You can now synchronize the Delay time to an external quarter Clock. The snapshot interpolation can now run with a much slower tempo and can easily get freezed for manual control.
